About Tamara....

I am a native San Diegan.  I grew up in Ocean Beach and Point Loma.  I graduated from Point Loma High and went on to graduate from UCSD with a degree in Sociology.  My goal has always been helping people and that is what I most enjoy about being a realtor.  I use my knowledge and expertise to get people in the home they want to be in or sell the home they don't want to be in.
I start by listening and getting a feel for what you are looking to do and then I take action.  I believe in positive thinking.  Anything is possible!
Do you know anyone who is thinking of buying or selling property?  If so, let me know.  I look forward to helping them!

Letter of Referral dated January 25, 2011

When my elderly mother and I were looking for a realtor to help us sell her home, we were so fortunate to find Tamara Strom.  She takes professionalism, energy, and thoughtfulness to a whole new level.
Tamara did not consider her job to be done when the sold sign went up.  She continured to keep my mother and I informed about every step of escrow.  She continued to coordinate repairs and made sure my mother had nothing to worry about.  Escrow closed right on time....And as unbelievable as it might seem in today's world, she sold the house in just three weeks for a very fair price.
If you are looking to buy or sell a home, I highly recommend that you contact Tamara.  She will get the job done right!

How Is Our Current Real Estate Market?

In my open houses and when talking with people, I always am asked, "How is the market?"
The truth is, it is not what it was but, homes are selling and will continue to sell.  People always need a place to live, San Diego is an extremely desireable location, and we live in a society where people move.
We know interest rates are extremely low right now and we know prices are down quite a bit from the highs 5 years ago.
What about for sellers? Things are definitely more challenging for sellers these days.  The best thing a seller can do is be realistic in their pricing and work closely with their agent to make sure they are getting buyers in the door.  Of course having your home is the best possible condition will also help in the selling process.
If you feel you may need to sell,  Call me and  I will help get your home prepped for the market.  Remember be selective with who you choose to market your home, not all agents have the same work ethic and in this market you will need an agent who is willing to work!
